Big Events at Five Aspects Ministries!

The Administrative Headquarters of Five Aspects Ministries is moving to Houston this spring and into the very capable hands of Bryan and Kristine Vermillion. We will be letting you know more about this very important transition in the weeks to come. However, as we close our administrative home office here in Waxahachie, we want to thank and honor a very important person.

Thank you, Woody Perry, for 27 Years of Loving Service to Five Aspects Ministries!

Barbara met Woody Perry in 1993 on a Sunday School field trip for the kids to ride horses north of Dallas. Barbara immediately felt a bond with this Christian, patriotic country girl from Lampasas, Texas.  Barbara noted in her annual scrapbook about Woody: “Wow! What A Doll!”

Three years later, in 1996, when the Mousers’ daughter Francesca was battling a brain tumor, Bill and Barbara asked Woody to help out with Five Aspects Ministries. The rest, as they say, is history.

Celebrating 27 years!

A long-time Aspecter from Missouri writes to Woody: All of the events I have attended of Barbara’s in Texas were adorned and complemented by your service and ministry. The delicious food you served and the beauty of the decorations were encouraging and uplifting. What you did was a big part of the joy of being there…

From North Carolina:  Over my lifetime, I have been to numerous Christian conferences for women. Without a doubt, my favorite conference has been the time I have spent with the ICGS team. A time of worship, led by Bill, outstanding teaching by Barbara, and the special care you gave all of us with your amazing hospitality is a memory that I wish could go on and on….I especially treasure the time I had with you, helping you in the kitchen. I felt immediately that we were “kindred spirits”! I treasure the recipes you shared with me…

A young Aspecter from California writes: Woody, As I think back on the Wisdom House Weekends and all the organization and communication you handled to make those work, I am so grateful! And then you went the extra mile and cooked the meals, did special touches and details, and made yourself so available to serve. Thank you. You are a blessing to me!!

A Michigan friend agrees: You have been an incredible blessing to me and so many other women. You fed our bodies delicious food….and made things beautiful, a “feast” for our eyes.

The “voice of Aspects,” Woody has been the trouble-shooter for countless problem orders and special needs over the years.

A Texan writes, “Woody, Thank you so much for all you have done to enable ICGS to impact lives for the Lord across the United States and oversees. Your consistent, faithful participation in the ministry made it easier for those of us who called with random questions and allowed us to assure our students that they also could contact you and get an answer.

Here’s a Californian who gets to the heart of the matter(!) “Woody, Thank you for being available via phone and emails for our questions and requests….and for keeping Bill and Barbara sane…”

Woody has brought skills and diligence to her work for Aspects over these many years. But her crowning virtues are surely the love and friendship she offers the people she serves. Here she is with one of her best buds from California.

Priscilla Fisher, the Aspects graphic designer for 23 years, writes this: Dearest Woody, Three decades is a long time to labor at anything, even more so when your labor is largely invisible to those whom you serve. Ever since I can remember, you’ve been the go-to person for ICGS. Whenever I sought your help, you proved yourself faithful, diligent, patient, and capable. You’ve blessed so many with your administrative skills, gracious hospitality, and willing, humble heart. I don’t know the half of it but thank you for your long service to the Lord through the Aspects ministry.

From Bill and Barbara:  Thank you, Woody. You have been an essential part of our lives and ministry these 27 years. We thank the Lord for bringing you into our lives. A chapter is closing, but love and friendship in Christ go on forever.

Stay Tuned, Aspecters!

Don’t be concerned about too much change too fast. Bill Mouser is remaining the Director of Aspects Ministries, and Barbara is remaining as a staff writer and consultant.  We are not shutting down; we are building up for ministry to new generations.

We are on schedule to make the new Five Aspects of Man Revised available for purchase August 1, 2023. A downloadable workbook and leaders guide will be available at that time for your fall classes (Lord willing).

Please pray for this office transition, for upcoming publications, and for outreach to a very broken world.  More details about all these things will be coming in a May Communique.
