December 2022 Communique

A Year for Unfeigned Thankfulness

We have shared with you in recent Communiques Bill’s retirement from pastoral ministry, our ministry move from the Chapel, and our personal downsize to a smaller home. We have also let you know about our 18-month bout with life-threatening lymphoma.

God specializes in “more than we could ask or think.” We are rejoicing in Bill’s restored health. We are so grateful that God has enabled him to continue here with us as husband, father, grandfather, and minister of the Gospel.

We also rejoice in the renewal of the Five Aspects Ministry.

Teammates: As we communicated in October, Bryan and Kristine Vermillion are coming along side to co-labor with us even more fully in the planning and execution of new ministry to the next two generations.

Materials: The Five Aspects of Man Revised (first proof) is currently being read by a number of godly men. More express interest on a regular basis.

Opportunities: Doors appear to be opening, especially for men’s ministry, specifically in South Carolina, New Jersey, and Texas.

Administration and finances. We are grateful for Woody Perry who continues to serve as our office administrator of 27 years, and for good relations with our printer Snowfall Press, and our web-master, Dan Olsen. We thank God for meeting all our material needs.

Five Aspects Board: The directors are of one mind with us. We were recently blessed by a visit with Steve and Marie Ramey, friends and co-laborers for almost 40 years. As parents, grandparents, and missionaries, they share our zeal to give all we can to the next two generations as we continue to hold up God’s truth in every area, especially in the massive battle over sexuality.

Five Aspects Supporters: We are grateful for all of you who have prayed, given, served, and encouraged us through some dreary days. Thank you for persevering with us.

Unfeignedly Thankful for the Unspeakable Gift

Most of all, we are thankful for Our Lord Jesus Christ and for His coming. With that in mind, we close this year with a picture of the lights that Bill put on the outside of our home and the lights that Barbara put on the inside as tribute to Him who came to be The Light of the World.

Merry Christmas from The Mousers and the Five Aspects Ministry!
